Frank Farmer and I did a cross country hike starting at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir in Yosemite. The rain clouds started clearing just as we got there and the weekend turned out beautiful. I got a chance to see a lot of flowers, meadows, and vistas that I wouldn’t have seen from the trail. The flowers were in full bloom everywhere. Great trip.

We celebrated Alda’s 27th birthday with friends at Disneyland - “The Happiest Place on Earth.” On Friday we visited Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Mickey’s Toontown. For dinner we went to Medieval Times were we feasted like kings while watching knights battle in a tournament of games to gain the king and kingdoms honor. On Saturday we visited Adventureland, Frontierland, Critter Country and New Orleans Square. Before it got dark we hopped over to California Adventure for some serious rides.
